Nutrition and Specific Health Concerns for People with Down Syndrome: A Proactive Approach with Dr. Danielle O’Connor

DETAILS:

Danielle O’Connor is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor that graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2003. She has a clinical focus on treating children with Down syndrome, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, tics and Tourette’s. Dr Danielle lectures internationally on these subjects and is a Board Member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario under the Ministry of Health.

Danielle continues to develop her training with the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs in Biomedical treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, childhood anxiety, OCD and ODD.  She also believes there is a need to look into the prevention of many of these disorders when there is a known predisposition.

Those in attendance will receive a free healthy eating meal plan and smoothie guide.


After her presentation there will be a Q&A, as well as refreshments and socializing.
